Do you grind all of that for feed or do you shell some?

We have 3 more cribs you cant see, biggest being 18' in diameter and 33' tall. We milk about 60 cows, grind feed with a 3 ton grinder/mixer. We plant about 60 acres a year, only had 8 acres left that need to be shelled.

don't think i've ever seen anyone use gravity boxes to pick corn with.  how bad a job was it to unload the ear corn?  be easier to line up to an elevator!

How do you do it? We've been using gravity wagons for a LONG time. As long as its dry or hasnt sat in the wagon for awhile, it will run out with no problems.

i use 6 barge wagons, 5 are 8 foot by 10 foot and one is 8 foot by 12 foot, all with 1 foot board (sideboards) on three sides on top.  Use the barge wagons for ear corn and shelled corn.  I pick way more shell corn than ear corn though, so the gravity wagon would be handier maybe.  Not sure the no. 50 sheller's auger will reach over my gravity wagons, though.  Just never heard of or thought of using gravity wagons behind the picker.  Good idea!

I have to use a smaller one on my 234 picker, but the NI picker works just fine, easier to unload too.
