I'am new here and I enjoy all types of farm equipment. All those mechanical implements are very fasanating to me. Anyway I just picked up a Ford 601 mounted picker, and it is in pretty good shape considering it is probabally 35 years old. Any pointers or past history of this picker is greatly appreciated.
Nice pics - I've never seen one of those machines in my part of the country. Good luck with restoring it! Also, my sympathies to you on your fresh snowfall(!)
i have the older two row dearborn version mounted on a wd45. If i had to do it all over i would probably get a ford like yours. Loved the looks and everything about those ford 3000. Like the original ford blue styling but with the cab like they [put on in later years. great pics
