It's raining right now so I have some spare time to post a few pictures of my New Idea 319 gathering unit with 322 husking bed at work. We finished cribbing corn Monday night. The tractor under the picker is a 1969 JD 2520 gas. Took about 12 acres to fill the 2 cribs and that's enough - sure glad I don't have to pick all my corn this way anymore!

The wagons in the pictures are as follows: The galvanized flare boxes are all Nu-Bilt 165 bu Giant Flare Boxes with Wards hoists under them. The faded out one has a Lindsay Bros. gear under it and the shiny one has a JD 1065 gear under it. The white barge box is a Heider 6 x 12 (it was repainted when I bought it) with a large Midwest hoist under it. It sits on a Westendorf running gear.
Good looking corn ! Sounds like it is turning out good. How many ac.do you have to get in? How many bushels can you get in your dump wagons? I bet there realy handy around the farm.
The corn I was in was running around 175 bushels per acre - best corn I have ever had! The flare wagons hold about 80 bushels of ear corn/160 bushels of shelled corn each. The barge box holds about 100-110 bushels of ear corn/200-220 bushels of shelled corn. They are handy to have around but don't get used very much any more - too small for today's large combines. I just keep them around for stuff like this.
Monday night I harvested the 3 acres that were still standing in the field after I filled these cribs. My original intentions were to get the sheller unit on the picker and finish those 3 acres with it. But when I saw the weather forecast for later in the week, I decided to get it done NOW! Anyway, the yield monitor in the combine read 202 bushels per acre when I finished!
