I have never seen a Mc Cormick corn elevator and I could not beleive it when I see it had a hydraulic lift on it. Anyone know anything about one of these elevators? what no. are they? I could find a tag. This thing would look nice restored, red elevator and white cylinder and white wheels, with white lettering.

From what I can figure out, in the 150 Years of International Harvester book it is probably a No. 21 or 21-A. The 21 elevators were built from 1958 to 1963. The 21-A elevators were built from 1963 to 1968. They were both available in 34 to 52 foot lengths. A hydraulically controlled undercarriage was used so that the operator wouldn't have to get off the tractor to raise and lower it. Three-inch deep flights were spaced 15 inches apart for maximum capacity. Hope that helps.
Thanks fergie40, I used to crank all my augers up and down and to think that IH had a hydraulic elevator way back then. I think this one looks to be about 38 to 40 ft. long.
