Boy you sure have a nice cornpicker show there! Wish I could be there but the weather is finally turning nice here. I've got to run my soybeans thru the corn dryer quick before we start on the corn here in SW Minnesota. Maybe someday I'll be able to make it there!
yeh maybe in the future i can bring my wd45 with ford mounted picker.I judst need one of the large pulleys for driving the left side gathering unit and the big belt that connects the two.Bet that will be expensive! Looks like it was a great show.
Wish that I was there too! In an "average" year we would be done harvesting by now. I'm sure most of you are in the same boat and don't need to be reminded. I've got a day left on beans and haven't even touched the corn yet. Maybe next year!!!
Do you have measurements or pics of the the pulley and belt? My grandfather had a Ford picker and I have some belts, pulleys, and a few other odds and ends around yet.
I got to take a few pictures before the batterys went, I thought about running a getting some new batterys, BUT I had corn to pick. Should have kept a count on how many loads of corn I pick. Got to make some new friends and talk to some great older guys.
Here is a 227 on a 60. Dad had a 227 on a M Farmall and before I started school I went with him to hook and unhook wagons, and road in the wagons all day.
The first thing I saw when I woke up after driving all night I pulled in at Kevin's at five in the morning.
They just got the sheller going.
Some of the pickers
