do they come out on pto side? just got rolls and fingers from country machinery nice guy there. any pointers appreciated not many pickers around here in mass. i stumbled on this one in the woods one town over. did about 40 acres last year but the rolls and fingers were so dry they wore down fast. excellent forum.
Take the gear off that is under the shild at the top end of the husking bed first and second you have to get the bearing hold down off the lower end (2 bolts) next to elevator. Once roll is free lift and pull towards elevator, then you can pull them up through the back side of the clearing rolls. You also need to take the back bearing off the finger wheel assembly so you have room to lift the roll up. I didnt remove the fan or the elevator, worked fine. Once I figered it out it was easy.
