I'll have pictures in a day or two, but it went great. I've got an old New Idea#7 one row picker and she worked perfectly. Only problem I could find is that it seemed to chew up the ends a bit on a lot of ears. Anybody else have that problem? Kurt
Welcome to the corn picking world! That is and always will be the problem with picking corn.That is one of the reasons that it went be the wayside! I did want to to know and am going to have another picking day here as there is still corn and by LOT of people that want to do it again ! So Nov. the Friday after Thanksgiving! So Try and come back then !It was really great to meet you and the pictures that you posted ! It got Ron Petree so wound up he drove 370 miles to pick twenty loads on Sunday and go back home in the same day!!! He won the prize for the longest distance, he got a bag of DEKALB Seed Corn of his choice for coming!!!!

Kevin, I was wound up after talking to you on the phone at 8pm and found out that the picker day was on. I went out and hooked up the trailer fueled the tractor and loaded and pulled out at about 10pm. and pulled in your drive at 5am and got about 2hrs. of sleep before it was time to wake up and get at it. I think I left your place at 7pm and got to my house Monday morning at 3am, had to stop for about a 2hr snooze. I'm ready to do it again. I hope a lot of you guys can come out to Kevin's on Nov 27 for his finish the field picker day.
