Check your height before taking apart the elevator.  I bought a New Idea 323 in St. Louis Missouri and pulled it almost 550 miles to Springville Alabama.  We placed it on a 30' deckover trailer.  I measured the height of the picker and trailer.  It was less than 13'.  I never encountered a bridge that was too low. 

If you'll stay on main roads you shouldn't have a problem.

We blocked the tongue up on a 12" block and let the snout down on the trailer bed.  If you raise the snout and block it up, this lowers the height of the elevator. 

Also, If you'll check with your state DOT, and the states you'll be traveling through, they should be able to advise if you'll have low bridges on your route.
Hope this helps. Alabama DOT has a map on their website that shows the height, width, and weight restrictions on all overpasses and bridges in the state.  I bet your state does too.
