From 1910 until 1965, Sibley ILL. landmark was the world's largest corn crib. Designed by Farm Manager C.G. Rohrer, the 325ft. long structure resembled a giant "H". Harper Sibley paid $20,073 to build the 125,000 bu. crib on Ohio street along Route 47. I found this info. on a centeeial plate for sale on ebay .

Sorry, the crib was torn down in the late 60's or early 70's.I drive through Sibley on the way down to the Half Century of Progress show and was hoping to see the crib but found out the sad news when talking to the farmers in the area.
