Your really making me wish I could have been there! Do you have any other shots of the WD with the New Idea? I was wondering if there were any of those pickers left. Is that a Waterloo Boy if the field pulling the wagon?
Jim yes that is a Waterloo Boy pulling the wagon. As far as other pictures of the WD with the New Idea picker that is the only still shot of it I have but I did walk around it with my video camera but never did get to see it in action Charlie.
Boy, that day was really somthing! You really had a diverse cross-section of pickers represented there. And that has to be one of the newest Model D MM shellers I have ever seen.
Yeh i would have loved to seen more of the wd with new idea picker.i had one and had to cut it up when we had to move and i've never forgiven myself for it. I m so glad to see there are a few left.
The John Deere sheller and the John Deere GP
 picker were at Ottumwa Iowa and the other pictures were at Walnut Illinois. I went to Walnut on Nov.1st and Nov.27 some pickers that were at Walnut the first time werent there the next time. When I was there on Nov. 27 Ten different pickers picked that day and it was definitly worth the trip for me and I am glad that I could share the pictures with everyone on this great forum. I also would like to thank Kevin from Walnut and David from Ottumwa for hosting these great events and also to all of the people who participated in them without them I would not have been afforded this great opprotunity thanks again.
