HAS ANYONE EVER SWAPPED A 263 CU.IN 565 TRACTOR MOTOR WITH A 263 CU.IN. 706 TRACTOR MOTOR? I NEED SOME INPUT. ANSWER EITHER ON PICKER-FORUM OR GJGALLEY@GMAIL.COM. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE WELLCOME.    THANKS,  JERRY GALLEY

Do both blocks have the same casting #?---If not, wont fit!---IH has a thing about casting #'s even for the same cuin motor!---just because they both are 263's does NOT mean that they will fit!
I ran into that fact on a 2444 engine, never did find one with right casting #, so tractor got junked! thanks; sonny
