IH 234 picker questions

I have found and now looked at a 234 picker. It was mounted on a 560 but it hasn't picked corn since the mid-to-late 1970s. The picker has sat inside all of it's life. So, I have questions for the forum. I would appreciate any all perspectives.

I would like to have 706 to mount a 234 picker onto, but I am sure that the subframe and axle brackets from a 560 will not work. Will 560 subframe and axle brackets work on a 656?

What should I be concerned about this machine since it has sat 35 years? It was well maintained and always shedded. Didn't pick more than 160 acres of corn from a period between 1968-1974

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using the single front tire under the picker?

What are the good/bad issues for keeping the single front tire on a tractor? The tractor would be not used for field work, loader work, or as a chore tractor. Mainly dedicated to the picker and light duty around the retired farm.

Are there advantages/disadvantages of an early serial numbered picker vs. a later serial numbered picker?

Thanks for reading and any advice you can share!

According to the parts catalog, 560 mounts also fit 400, 450, and Super MTA.  The mounts for a 656 are unique to that tractor only.
