I have viewed here a couple of years and learned a lot but now my first post. This afternoon I bought what the man said was a ford 1 row pull type picker. It is blue but I could see a little hint of red in places. It is a left hand unit.I suspect it could even be dearborn.I may try to post a pic later but it will be a few days.I found a tag on the back of it but it appeared blank. Any help in an I.D. will be greatly appreciated.
You got a ford dearborn /wood bros picker. Very popular around here. They pulled real easy. I didnt get to use ours but one round but liked it. Worst part is the shellling in the row, but all the old style pickers did that.
Thanks for the reply.I bought it because I am unsure of how well I can get off and on my mounted new idea.I got banged up a little this spring and had shoulder surgery and facing knee surgery. It looks like it will pull easy.I look forward to getting it home.
