Picking pictures from AE-TA working farm show

Well this past Friday and Saturday I had the great fortune of attending the Antique Engine and Tractor Association (AE-TA) working farm show in Geneseo Illinois. There was several events that took place at this great show. A sawmill, threshing, husker shredder, straw bailing, corn binder, soybean and corn harvesting, plowing, among sevaral other events. So I thought that I would share a few pictures of the corn picking that took place during the show. My next stop (unless I come across something else before hand) is Antique Harvest Days at Ottumwa Iowa Oct. 15th and 16th 2011 I hope to see some of you there.

Great pictures.  What's that attatched to the tractor in picture number four?  I'm probably wrong, but it looks like it should be a stalk chopper.

You are correct it is a John Deere #5 power driven stalk cutter.

Thank you for putting up the pictures! They look good. It is fun to see many different pickers and equipment. Hope all had a good time!
