Has anybody hauled a 324/325 on a car trailer 7'x16' side ways, by taking hitch, floating shoes, & auger off. I have been checking into trucking, but they have been talking permits & lots of $!!!!. The one I am looking at is roughly 300 miles away. Everything close seems to be junk or way over priced.

to get down to width i turned it sideways, then rolled it backwards so the snouts were pointing skyward. obviously the wagon elevator has to come off first. also the snouts and hitch to get it to legal height. used some strategically placed wood blocks to support it.
I raise them in the air with a loader on each side back under ans set it back down with blocks under the axles to have support to sit on and keep the hitch on the trailer and chain it down in four spots and lower the elevator and strap it tight . It is a little wide but it is of agricultural husbandry that is legal.
No different that driving it down the road with a tractor ! And yes I have hauled down the interstates all the time ! Good luck !
Saw one being hauled on trailer behind PU the other day on WV interstate. Hitch was raised, which lowered elevator. Frame on blocks. Wide load signs. Looked good and safe.
