Oliver 74-H corn picker value

We're located in southwestern PA and have a model 74-H mounted corn picker that hasn't been used in over 15 years. We don't have a need for it since we have a 2-row pull behind New Idea picker. It's going to end up in the scrapyard unless someone shows some interest. I know it's difficult to put a value on it without seeing it, but it's always been shedded, even over the years we haven't used it. So, is it worth trying to sell or just junk it? Thanks

I my way of thinking if u do not have any pictures all it is worth is scrap price to a local person ! I have bought several things over the internet and even with pictures I have gotten kinda the taken , not to say u would but what the pictures are and what is really the condition of the machine is some times two totally different things .

But as always what is good in another persons eyes is two totally different things! Sitting in a shed does not mean that is good , its what happened to it before it went to the shed , the type of shed a covered shed with a very good roof , doors closed misc , u get the hint !!
But good luck but still show some pictures!!

Thanks for the advice, and don't worry, no offense taken. I'll try to post some pictures later this week. I'm not trying to cheat anyone out of their money, but I would rather see the picker go to good use than sold for scrap and shipped to China.

when you advertize it, it also helps to know what mounts are with it.

Here are the images of the cornpicker. As you can see, the main mount is there, but the mounts that bolt to the front tub of the tractor are not included. They were on the tractor when it was in a shed fire.

I need two chain shields that I would generously pay for that I can see are present on your unit.  If you have a contact number I would appreciate it~thanks.

Primative1,

We are looking to sell the unit as a whole. I'm waiting for this to be brought up at the next Tri-State Oliver Collectors meeting, but they don't meet for another week. I'll let you know what happens after the meeting. Thanks for your interest.
