I work in Central Asia where a lot of corn and all sunflowers are still harvested by hand. We are considering importing corn pickers, and if they can double for sunflowers we would be even more interested in getting some pickers. Sunflowers are harvested early, at high moisture, to minimize bird damage and so shattering would not be a problem. I'd love to hear from anyone who might have experience or information about using pickers for sunflowers. Thanks.
idk if a picker would do the job but they do make sunflower heads well maybe they are called all crop heads cuz its basically a corn head with blades at the bottom similar to a chopper head instead of snapping rolls
