I just bought a 323 1 row new idea picker. Are the husking rollers suppose to be coated with rubber? Mine are all just metal with little cleats sticking up. Is that right? And if so can you replace the cleats that goes in the holes of the rollers mine is missing alot of them.
No, they were available either way. I had one with all steel rolls. They didn't wear out but didn't husk as good either. Yes you can replace those little cleats on the rolls BUT the more you use the more it will shell. Like may pickers, it's a trade. The cleaner you try to husk the more it will shell.
