Heres a Sandwich MFG Co 10 hp running a sandwich cylinder sheller. The picture was taken about 5 miles from the factory. The farm was Agustus Otto's and he was involved with developing the sandwich easy way hay loader. I believe this was taken about 1914 judging by the engine.You can see a display like this in delmont SD i believe the 2nd week in september the only difference is the 10hp will be running a 8 hole spring sheller.Sandwich was bought out by new idea in 1930 where they built corn pickers in the sandwich factory.The sandwich plant was closed in 1975.
