I have a 43 john deere corn sheller,the flights for the cob stacker are missing.I would like to make some,does anyone know the demenions of them. would like to know wilth, height, and thickness.

Sorry, I thought you needed the attachment links for the chain. You are correct on the part number for the rubber paddles that attach to the attachment link.
Dozerman, when we had to replace the missing flights/paddles on our NI pickers, we cut the rubber paddle parts out of old belting. We fabbed up the metal parts for the flighting and sandwiched two belt-thicknesses between them. That was pretty close to the same thickness as the original rubber paddle. We had some old paddle units for patterns for both the metal and rubber parts.
We already had a decent supply of paddle links after we bought out a local machine shop's chain inventory, but most machine shops should still be able to order them for you. There are some older posts on this site about chain suppliers. We still rivet the paddle links to the flighting, but we had better luck using bolts to sandwich the rubber belting between the metal flighting sections. We double-nutted the bolts and used a punch on the bolt threads behind the nuts. We haven't lost one yet.
This method wouldn't work for a restoration. We just use our pickers to pick ear corn.
That is what i was going to do, i can get some heavy belt. I bought this sheller back in the fall,and all the paddles or gone, the hardware is good just no paddles. I tryed my dealer he said none available. If i just had the demenions I dont think be no problem to fabarcate. May just have to do trail and err. Thanks for yalls input.
I just went out and measured the ones on my 43 sheller. They are 1-3/4" tall by 2-3/4" wide. Then they have a 1/2" x 1-1/2" notch cut out of the bottom for the chain. Looks like they were cut out of some type of belting or tire carcass and I'm sure most of the flites on mine are original. Hope this helps you out.
