I just bought a Case 425 mounted corn picker in Indiana. I was wondering what year it was, the serial number is 8163551. Thank you for the help. Also here is a couple pics.
Good luck, I bought a JD 237 a few years back and asked the same question on here and got zero replies. I don't think they kept track of production years with serial numbers of pickers quite as well as they did with tractors. Google can help, also try to get your hands on as much literatures a you can for the pickers. Talking to some of the old boys who ran them in their day also can help.
