Local Davis-Purdue Ag Research Farm in Indiana recently held a field day at the end of August with agronomy topics and also celebrated their 100th anniversary with historical presentations about the farm and its work through the years. Local club had a tractor display of engines and about 20 tractors. I took a 323 picker and 100 wagon over along with a U302 Super MM that was sold new here in the town of Farmland, Indiana.  Myself and our FFA chapter helped cook 500 pork chops for the attendees...

Cool. My grandfather was born and raised around farmland. Probably still got a lot of distant relatives in the area. One was an auctioneer. One relative lost both arms in a round baler when he was younger.

Interesting. Remember the auctioneer's name? Wasn't Max Wagner by chance was it?

The MM dealer was only in business here 3-4 years I was told. I think I remember the individual you mentioned who was injured at a young age in a baler.
