I grew up back in the 1960's in an area between two really good IH dealers and EVERYBODY used Kewanee elevators. If a nice well kept Kewanee elevator comes up for sale that would do the job I wouldn't let it get away from you.
My Buddy bought a couple Kewanee elevators just to scrap them, he'd disassemble them into their 8 ft long sections and tack weld one section on top of another section to make cattle feed bunks. The Kewanee elevators galvanized steel kept them clean and shiny.
Dan - Good luck on your search for an IH elevator. I have to applaud your desire to recreate your own IH sales brochure photo with ALL IH equipment. Hope you find a good one close to home. They are not the most fun things to tow. I used to have the fun of towing our 48 ft bale elevator from farm to farm for our little baling crew.
