this was after I picked the 8 rows that I had here. -- gave corn to a couple people for chickens and some for critters. I only plant the 8 rows to block the garden from the road.---- general public dont need to what I grow.

In the Lower Rio Grande Valley, the citrus groves weren't always what they seemed, as quite a few only had the first row or two along the road planted to grapefruit, with the rest being planted to the more desirable varieties of citrus.
This was done to keep the Winter Texans from raiding the orchard.
