Stuck PTO shaft
(Preview)
The short forward section of the PTO shaft on my 324 gathereing unit will not telescope out to the tractor. I have it tied up vertically and shot a LOT of pen oil into it. Is there a better way? I tried pulling on it with the Honda but I was more than a little afraid of wearing the chain around my neck :)

Aflatoxin Question

Iowa State says that corn across the state has varying levels of aflatoxin, which apparently thrives in a drought. Our corn looks OK so far, but it is way too early to tell. Ours was planted in May, the stalks and leaves are still green, and the kernels have a long way to dry. We may not have a problem, bu...
