Uni sales brochures
(Preview)
I have some saved sales brochures for Uni pickers. One is when the 800 series was new (1980?) and another is the gray Uni's of very late 80's to early 90's. I also have newspaper ad clippings on prices of Uni equipment from 90 or 91. How do I go about posting these?

I haven't taken time to post and it's raining out so here goes. I stumbled across a Oliver 2 row pull type 73-S in a shed out by West Branch, Ia. and was able to buy it. Previous owner helped me get it out of the shed it was in for 20 plus years. I borrowed a tire off of a guy in the tractor club I belong to to get it pu...

I was wondering if someone knew the model numbers of John Deere pull type pickers and when they were made? I know the 300, but what about a model 18? I grew up around New Idea, and saw some IH around, but no Deere's around me. I'm new here but am facinated with pickers.

Last New Idea pickers? What years.

About when did New Idea quit building pickers of all types? They must have basically had the market cornered for quite some time, it's all anyone around this area really uses. I do know of a one row IH picker, it's in the minority anymore though. JD dealer has a three row JD 300 picker but you don't see t...

NI325....elevator speed
(Preview)
I have great corn this year. My problem is going slow enough that the corn doesn't build up on the husking bed. It's a New Idea 325 with a 12 roll bed but the elevator can't keep up. I run in 1st gear which is really to slow for the snapper to do it's best . Any suggestions? Thanks!
