I;m trying to find out if a husking bed can be put on a 309 elevator unit? Is it a complety different unit alltogether ?All we have around here is just elavator units . I have never seen what one looks like .
Yes - you put down the parking stands on the hopper elevator unit, install the stand on the elevator, detach the rods from the mounting frame that hold up the elevator, disconnect the drive chain, remove the 2 pins that hold it on the prongs that slide into the mounting frame and drive away. You back into the husking bed prongs and reverse the above procedure.
