Kevin, met you at Ratoul, hope to make it to your place next month. If you get to Atkinson, stop by the Oliver tent and ask for Big Jim.

Hey Kevin! Finally got a chance to get on here. Been so busy it's been insane. I'm J Brown, that had the Allis tractors and pickers at Rantoul, and brought my WC to Bob Johnson's last year. I'm gonna really try hard to get up there, if my buddy with the 560/ with the 234 picker want to come up, we will try to load both that and my D-17 with the 190 picker. If he has to be in the field at home, I'll bring both of mine. Really glad to see your pickers at Rantoul! Hopefully Bob will get a chance to pick this time! lol

Kevin, I got started putting in some bearing on my 234 today and going over it so maybe if all goes well I can come out and pick some corn.  Will you have enuff tractors and drivers to haul the corn away?

I might try helping with your question on mounting a 234, your tires need to be 68 inches-inside of tire to inside of tire or 34 inches-center of tractor to inside of tire.

Kevin, I hope all goes well so I can bring my picker out and pick some corn.  I have been checking it over and have put in 5 bearings and put on the two new belts that runs the fans and been doing a lot of adjusting on chains, so I hope I don't have any trouble.  If I bring the picker and a tractor to haul corn with, I might have to bring the step deck, if I do is there a dock close to you that I could unload at?

All my crop are still green, the bean just starting to turn and the corn will still be a while maybe 30 days or more for me, as I harvest it dry.

Yes Ron we do have three loading docks of varies heights and ways to get machinery off of any truck or trailer! I Going to start combining next week .
Was at a antique show last weekend with three of my pickers and picked alot , the corn was around 23-25 % So things are coming along in some ways too fast and others not fast enough! But thats life !
Hope to here from a few more of you guys and hope to see a good turnout , but I do understand that your own harvest is the most important !! But also stop and have some fun!!

Kevin, I'm about 90% shur that I'm going to come out and pick with you, so I can have some fun.  I got the picker check over and put some newer tires on the back of the tractor, the old one were cracking real bad and one I had to keep adding air to.  I might pick a grinder full of corn to try the picker out now if the corn gets a little dryer so I know picker is ready to go.
