Here's the first brochure of the new year - a New Idea No. 10 One-Row Corn Picker. I didn't notice this until I scanned it in - this picker was available as either a pull-type or a semi-mounted picker. Has anyone ever seen one of these as a semi-mounted model?

I have a regular pull-type #10. The semi-mtd. was also considered a #10 to answer your question. I have only ever seen one, not many were sold I think.
Want to thank you for posting the No. 10 brochure. We bought our first picker,a No.10, and had no idea what it was. Simple enough to figure out but you're a big help.
mY first picker was same model as my grandfathers a new Idea #7. A great picker for its day . If they had changed the angle of the snapping rolls so they didnt shell so much and break off stalks and had a stronger fan would have been perfect. But i always wanted to try a mounted picker so i bought two and still have the one.
No - all the ones I have posted here in the past are in my private collection. Just wanted to share the information that is in them with all of the members of this forum.
Ebay usually has an assortment of different manuals and brochures for New Idea pickers. If you're looking for one I'd recommend checking there from time to time.
