Well, this post is not totally all corn picker info, but is ear corn related anyway.
There was a sale this past Sat March 13 near Canton, IL, George Borrowman Estate, by Sullivan Auctioneers. On this sale was what they called a salesman sample of a Behlen wire round crib like would have been set up at farm shows, and exhibits. I would have liked to have gone and seen it in person and maybe bought it, but couldn't get away due to other obligations. I was told it was about 5-1/2 feet high and about 4 feet in diameter. Looked like it always was kept in.
Has anyone else ever seen another?
The sale had a large, large amount of alll kinds of farm collectibles and old machinery as well. Did anyone here go to it?
I have a model crib very similar to that but I have no clue what brand it is. It is currently sitting in the middle of my wife's flower garden in front of two Behlen cribs. Since we've had it, I've threatened every year to fill it with corn! I'll try to get some pictures posted. Maybe someone will be able to identify it for me.

A neighbor a couple of miles away from me had something like that years ago. I don't know if he still has it or not. He had it displayed with a miniature barn and windmill.
They still make this mini crib. I was exchanging emails with Roger Hiesterman of Behlen Country about the mini corn cribs and what they have their catalog called the mini zoological cage. He told me it is bascially the same thing, same size with the pitched roof and cap. I have not found out the price yet. I need to contact a local dealer. Here is the contact information. Looks to be the same guy stated in another post regarding new corn cribs.
