Picking ear corn in Minnesota - 2010 edition

I was out today (10-10-10) working on picking my own corn here in SW Minnesota and thinking of you guys having your corn picking day today by Ottumwa. I was there in spirit! Anyway, my son rode in the wagon for 1 round and took a few pictures. It was a very nice day - actually too hot for sitting in a mounted picker!

Thanks for the nice pictures, your corn looks good.  I didn't think you could get a picker on Deere with side controles.

I went to Ottumwa Sat. and picked a few loads and yes it's to hot to be running a mounted picker.  I'm glad I went they have a lot of stuff that I have never seen and I want to go back next year to see what Dave has come up with.  Super nice show.

Great pictures! It was a very warm day in October to be sitting on the tractor picking corn BUT it sure looked fun!! I am posting some pictures of corn picking that my dad and I did this weekend.
