A friend and I were trying to find a picture of the picker he had when he farmed and we found pictures of a 1954 4 row Oliver mounted corn picker. Crazy beast of a machine! There are 5 pictures of it. I wish I could download them directly but here is the link to see this picker.

Does anyone know anything more about this picker? I wonder if something like this is still around in someone's shed.

That is really neat  thank you for sharing the link for the slide show pictures. It would be neat to see that picker at work.

I couldn't find the article but back in the late 40's or early 50's Lester Pfister of Pfister Seed Corn made his own 4 row self-propelled picker to pick his seed corn which looks very close to those 5 pictures. I wiil try to find more info. CornPickerBob
