Bought a # 7 at auction

I bought a new idea #7 Saturday at an auction. I run a #10 but this one had a crash. Somehow they broke the drive sprocket on the first elevator and jacked it up. It's got brand new 7.50 24's firestones on it. Had to give 150 bucks to keep it from the scrappers. This thing lived 2 miles from the house it's whole life. I'll probably keep it for parts but if anyone is looking for the tires and wheels I could probably fix you up cheap if your not far away. Mine has 20's on it so I wouldnt think they would work. Does anyone know if raising my picker a few inches would change the snapping roller angle enough to give me problems?? Because I think the bolt pattern is the same it's just a taller tire. Thanks again

never thought about it but my #7 shelled out about 14 bpa in the rows despite my best efforts to adjust it. might help it. I remember different setting on the picker frame too.Now you got me to thinking. lolStill sounds like a great bargain in spite of the broke parts., I got a ford dearborn on a wd45 that both need work. I am thinking of setting two row planter to 36" rows and doing outside rounds in field and a few places in middle and opening up field with mounted for fun and ease and the rest on 30" rows with 4 row planter for yield. Be safe!

Let me know what you need, the only way I wouldn't want to really sell parts are if I have the same parts on my number 10. If you'll let me know I'll check it out and if I won't need it I'll hook you up.
