Most drying floors came with a support system of stands and/or rails, but I have seen them supported with concrete blocks, as well. If you put that floor up high enough, and figure out how to leave a slot out of the floor right down the middle, you might be able stick the sheller drag right through a hole in the side of the bin and push the ear corn right into the drag. I've never seen or heard of it being done, but there's no reason it wouldn't work. You might need to frame up the hole for the drag with angle iron so it wouldn't collapse, and you probably wouldn't want to cut it right down to the slab. Also, you would probably need to make sure that the floor support was beefed up around the slot for the drag. You should be able to cover the slot with short boards. Just make sure that your drag runs right under the bin door so you can take the boards out when needed. Art's right, though, it would still be one sweaty job if you waited until summer.
