I bought one on a farm sale Sat. . It is very rusty , it will shell, elevate cobs , but needs alot of paddles, and the blower (Grinder) needs the rubber faceing and what about the grease fitting on the bottom? I also need manuals. thankyou Don
If you have trouble finding paddles in suitable shape, try fabricating them. We have had good luck with that on several different pieces of older equipment. We only had to buy paddle links to mount on the fabricated paddles. We used old belting material, sometimes 2-3 layers thick, for paddle applications that needed rubber inserts.
You can download the parts manual free on the Deere web site. jdparts.com. I think it is PC-371. I and also seen the operators manual on eBay quite often.
