I was wondering if i sold my New Idea collection to buy a Dearborn corn picker what would be a fair asking price? I have a 325 two row narrow with a husking bed always kept in the shed and has straight snouts. The bearings have always been greased before using and it has some new chains which have been oiled. I also have a 324 wide row with a grinder attachment. The gathering unit is not in as good of shape but runs. The grinder came off the 325 and works good. I also have a 329 supersheller that i bought from a local tractor dealership that used to sell new idea equipment. It is brand new and has never been used. It was set up for a three row picker but i bought the parts to put it on a two row. Everything is loose but i have never tried it out. There is also a parts sheller for it. There are also a couple sets of jacks and stands and misc. parts. I also have operators manuals for everything.
I will buy all the 325's you can find me for 1250 dollars. Here in KY a decent 325 will bring $2500, with a 327 bed it will bring $3500. Seen one for sale that looked new for $6995. I know your not in KY but just saying. I would be interested in the supersheller if you ever decide to sell.

I'm about 200 miles south of you. I bought four 324/327 combos for a total of $1800 a few years ago in Denison, Iowa. I haven't seen prices change much since then. All work, two have the extra-long elevators. 3 have straight snoots, the other is only wrinkled a bit. Two have almost all of the same paint they were born with. They are shedded now, but I don't know about earlier in their lives. I don't know about pricing for the grinder or picker attachments. 325s in good shape with the 12 roll bed go for over $3,000 in southwest Iowa. 324s are much more common in western Iowa than the 325s. I know that doesn't exactly answer your question, but I hope it helps.
