I have one. We had a sweet corn canning factory here locally they had 2 blizzard cutters. I think one was a spare. They were used to process and blow the shucks, stalks, bad ears and cobs into a local farmers truck. The product was put into pit silo and was fed to cattle. In the early 50's the plant was closed. Dad bought one of them. We had a pull type picker and we would cut 2 rows of corn off and pile on the pickup and run the stalks in the Blizzard and into a wagon, then feed the calves. Every day
I have had it set up at a local corn picking contest to demonstrate.
From what I've found doing a quick google search online I believe it was made by Massey Harris, if you look into that lead you may be able to narrow down the year.

I looked at my Blizzard yesterday it is a 600. It looks the same as the one in the pictures. I wonder if it is newer, smaller, older or bigger? There is part numbers on various pieces. I can't find a serial number any where
Blizzard silo fillers were made in Canton Ohio by Joseph Dick Manufacturing. Massey Harris sold them in Canada apparently. If it has the wooden undercarriage and feed table it predates the 1930s. The 1930s catalogs I found online all show steel construction. 1917 ad I found shows wood. I couldn't find anything from the 1920s.
