It was nice to talk with you on Friday, Bob. I will not be at Rantoul, where I am sure your book will be a popular item. I appreciate your reserving a copy for me. I sent you a check and shipping information today, as discussed. I so appreciate the work that you and Phyllis put into this work of history, and look forward to reading it. Thank you.
Bob, I received my copy of your book the other day, and had a chance to look through it. Outstanding. It's gonna take me a long time to actually read the whole book, but it is just superb. I particularly liked the short editorial comments from you and Phyllis throughout the book explaining little things. Rich history, great pictures, a thorough contribution to our recorded history of farming. I am so glad you two put this together, and so glad I have a copy.
I received my copy of the book a couple of weeks ago. This is an OUTSTANDING book. Thank you Phyllis and Bob for all of your hard work and research. Also I would like to thank all the people that contributed information to Phyllis and Bob for this AWESOME book.
Thank you for all the kind words! We were very surprised that we sold out the books at the Half Century of Progress.
We were not planning to print anymore books, but with encouragement from many friends we did print a 2nd edition with
a few minor changes so that the first numbered books will still be unique, and the 2nd edition will not be numbered.
So, if you heard the books were sold out, now you have a chance to purchase one by going to CornPickerBook.com
We will be at Antique Harvest Days near Ottumwa, IA, Oct 21st & 22nd with books to sell.

I fully agree with the other comments on the outstanding quality of this book, both the information and the quality of the physical book. This will be the "go-to" book on corn pickers for years to come. Thank you, Bob and Phyllis, for bringing my copy to Antique Harvest Days this year. It was great to visit with you both and also great to get this valuable book. Don't let the price scare you off as this book is worth every penny.
Mr. Corn Picker, Got my copy from the mailman this afternoon. It's not a book you flip through in an hour. Researching and organizing this book was quite a project, and will be an excellent read. Thank-you and your Wife for this book.
