Gehl sheller

I have a chance to buy a Gehl corn sheller for $1200. It is in excellent shape and has a drag on it so you can unload corn out of a wagon into it. Is anyone familiar with these ? Thanks for any thoughts/advice about this sheller. Lee

If I buy it I will try to post some. I am trying to find out something about this brand of sheller to find out how good they were.

Is this a corn sheller, or a grinder-mixer that you are looking at?

Corn sheller with some form of a drag.  It would be good if it was a grinder with a sheller  because my old IH grinder is getting like me old and worn lol. That's why I posted the original  post , I had never heard of a Gehl sheller. Of course there is a lot I don't know.

I have seen a Gehl grinder mixer with a sheller mounted ahead of the mill.  It was made by Haban for Gehl.  It could be removed from the mill.  Probably what you are looking at.
