JD 300 Corn Husker


Have a problem with piece of stalk left on a lot of ears anyone have any ideas

You could have a lot of issues as to why the stalk is still left on a lot of the ears of corn.

The husking rolls could be in poor condition, meaning not being aggressive enough to remove the husk off of the ear.

The length of the brushes in the husking bed could be too short, not pushing the husk and stalk onto the husking rolls.

The type of variety of corn could be breaking off at the corn head and going completely through the machine.

Also, corn head could be in poor condition.
